New
Mexico Mayflower is an active organization with over 50 years
of history. Over one hundred sixty of our members can trace
their direct descent from the Passengers of the Mayflower
whose voyage terminated in New England in November of 1620.
The organization exists to foster a knowledge and love of history, to encourage genealogical research, to provide social and educational opportunities for members, and to do outreach by providing scholarships to promising students.
New Mexico has a long and colorful history. Here the Native American, Hispanic, Anglo, and other populations met and are learning to live together to form the diverse and vibrant culture we enjoy today.
